I've been really into cute ways to protect my hair lately ever since I began my journey on going natural (growing my hair out w/o relaxers). I picked up this scarf from my job (Charlotte Russe) and i love wearing it whenever i'm having a lazy hair day, or if it's rainy. 

I paired it with my black skin tight high waist jeggings from Nasty Gal, Roxie cutout wedges by Jeffrey Campbell (better photo below), crop top, over-sized white cardigan, and of course my Lipstick Of The Month of February: MAC's Candy Yum Yum. Roxie In Red

Roxie made an appearance for the 2nd time this week on friday for the Operation: Smile holiday charity party me, and the other seniors in the fashion program at The Art Institue of Virginia Beach hosted. We've been stressed out planning this event all quarter long, and finally, we got to see it come to life. Glad to say, the event was a success! We raised $3,058 to donate towards Operation: Smile! That's about 13 surgeries for kids with cleft palettes or cleft lips. That really makes me warm for the holidays.

I haven't whipped out my snakeskin pants since the middle of the summer (i think), but i'm glad i did yesterday (thursday). FYI, this outfit was a total accident. I woke up super late! I had class at 8am, but i woke up at 7:12am & left the house by 7:30am! That rarely happens for me (being able to wake up that late, get kinda cute, and still make it out the house on time) but I just love when it does! Of course, i couldn't get everything done, so i donned the H&M shades since i was makeup-less today. The pants are also from H&M, while the top & necklace are from Charlotte Russe. The shoes are Lovestruck by Ninewest, which are still slightly uncomfortable given how long i've owned them and how many times i've worn them, but they're super simple & cute so worth it!

72 in December

This post is late by a few days! I apologize, but the past 3 days have been hectic. However, monday & tuesday we had a spurt of nice weather here in Virginia Beach! 72 degrees! It was lovely. I whipped out my Kink high waisted denim from Nasty Gal and my amazing Jeffrey Campbell Roxies which arrived in the mail tuesday. I got them for 50% on Black Friday :):) I love the shoes so much. I can't wait to pair them with more outfits.

Thanksgiving outfit!

Hellooooo everyone! It's been a bit since my last post, but yesterday was Thanksgiving & to all who celebrate the holiday, I hope you enjoyed your feasts and time with loved ones! Some things i'm thankfuls for: My loving boyfriend, family, & a good sense of style! What was on your plates? Better questions, what'd you put together for a Thanksgiving day outfit?? Sorry this post is so late, but this is what I wore on saturday Oct. 13 as I was super busy working Virginia Beach's Town Center Fall Fashion Weekend. Wearing these heels for 12 hours straight is killerrrrr! I was told we would be provided chairs prior to the event, but the chairs never showed up. :(

A Pinch Of Cinnamon

Winter is right around the corner. Cool air has touched Virginia Beach, so i finally got to bust out my new faux-fur embellished moto jacket. I love it so much! And the touch of cinnamon comes in the form of my JC Lita look-a-likes, which are uber comfortable. Seriously, the comfort and look of these shoes are just amazing considering they're knock-offs! I went from 8am to 5pm in these in ease without begging to take them off by the days end. I'm sooo NOT looking forward to cold weather, but I'm definitely looking forward to wearing more fall/winter fashion.

My Jeffrey Campbell Toledo spikes!!! I love love love them & I can’t wait to style them. Honestly I’d pair these with just about everything in my closet. haha. I love sales! I stumbled upon these darlings on NastyGal for super cheap! I'm so happy to have finally found a pair of JCs in my size & style for an affordable price. I love shopping, but I still have a college budget to tend to! lol.
